Leaving Espana

I'm on the front steps of a cathedral in Cadiz, Spain with friends and am trying to get the most of my last few seconds online as my battery is dying. I have had an amazing time in Spain and cannot believe that this is only the beginning. I will have another blog post soon, but am not sure how many pictures I will be able to load on this trip since we cannot post pictures or videos. Tomorrow we prepare for Morocco.

That picture from the boat was beautiful! You said you can't post pictures and videos? Oh... and if you have some time, Ollie wants know about your life boat drills. Is there an alarm? We're still waiting for Ollie's fire drill.

Hi Lizzie,

Phil Welton here from St. Andrew's Choir in Ayer. Your mom told us all about your "Semester at Sea", and we are looking forward to tracking your time and staying in touch.

What a great opportunity to travel and see the world as a solid addition to your studies in cultural anthropology!!

Spain looks beautiful, and would that we all could be enjoying the sunsets with you and your frieds on the deck! Rather, we are all stuck here in good old Ayer making a go of it.

So there you have it, and take good care to take it all in this semester, Lizzie!

Looking forward to seeing your adventures roll in.

Blessings on your journey and pilgrimage,

Phillip Welton
